Map The States is a free online US geography game for kids ages 7–14. Instead of flashcards, kids learn the states by playing — recognizing shapes, capitals, and nicknames, tapping each state into place on the map, and comparing states head to head. Three ways to play

Name That State — see a state's shape, capital, abbreviation, nickname, or a fun fact and pick the right state. Builds recognition from every angle.
Place That State — tap the state on the US map, with a zoomed-in Northeast so the small states are easy to hit. Hot-and-cold hints after a miss teach where it really is.
State Showdown — two states side by side: which is bigger, has more people, or became a state first? Builds a feel for the country's scale and history.
